This I Believe "I Always Have A Choice"
I picked this essay simply because of how much it touched me. To know that there was someone out there that was suffering from such an awful disease such as ALS, and still finding ways to manage and enjoy life was amazing. We all complain of all the minor problems we have in our lives, and how awful our lives are because we can't afford the dress we want for New Year's, or because we can't go on the cruise for Spring Break, but no one ever takes the time to take a deep breath and appreciate the air around them. Her ways in finding "choices" that work with her complications instead of giving up are ones that I wish I could find in me to do as well.
